How to get there

By airplane:

You can reach us by airplane at Mundo Maya international airport in Santa Elena, Flores, Petén. AVIANCA and TAG airlines serve the Guatemala – Petén route on a daily basis at different schedules and Tropic Air operates from Belize.

By land:

[message type=”info”]Remember: A trip from Guatemala City to Petén lasts an average of eight hours.[/message]

By bus:

Land transfers from Guatemala city are available in the bus routes called Línea Dorada, Fuente del
Norte and ADN. They all arrive to the bus central station located in Santa Elena, Flores, Petén. We
strongly recommend you go by the “especial” (special) or “de lujo” (luxury) service which includes on
board WC, A/C, and in some cases they even include Wi-Fi. To reach the lodge you may book a collective shuttle or we can coordinate a private transfer for you (read annex).

By car:

You can reach us using two different highway routes, Carretera CA9 and CA13, or Carretera 5, verify the
attached map.

Climate

[custom_frame_right] [/custom_frame_right] Petén is characterized by humid tropical climate. In summer season which covers the months from March to May, temperatures can be from 25 ° C (77 ° F) to 40 ° C (104 ° F) in the shade, and in the months of December to February they can be from 11 ° C (51.8 ° F) to 21 ° C (69.8 °F). The months with a heavier rainfall are from June to november, so we recommend you to bring appropriate clothing.
